- Alexandria Board Leadership Exchange – Recognizing the need to create a stronger and more empowered community through effective board and commission leadership, the Alexandria Community Trust (ACT) has launched the Alexandria Board Leadership Exchange (ABLE). Through seminars, opportunities to collaborate and network, ABLE will support local Leaders as they refine their leadership skills and strengthen the effectiveness of the organizations they lead.
- ACT for Alexandria – ACT was founded in the fall of 2002 to stimulate philanthropic giving in Alexandria and improve the lives of Alexandria’s most vulnerable people. ACT is a community foundation that helps with charitable giving guidance, family giving (donor advised funds) and connecting with other community resources.
- ASAE – ASAE and The Leadership Center provide associations with resources – publications, training, consultation, ideas – designed to help associations transform society through the power of collaborative action and play a vital role in society by equipping association leaders with the tools they need to lead and manage.
- BoardSource – BoardSource is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of non-profit organizations by strengthening their boards of directors. Its programs and services mobilize boards so organizations fulfill their missions, achieve their goals, increase their impact and extend their influence. BoardSource is a 501(c)3 organization.
- Giving Circles Network – Giving Circles Network is a non-profit organization that seeks to better enable individual donors and emerging or existing Giving Circles to increase the impact of their contributions.
- The Giving Forum (of the Regional Association of Grant Makers) – The Forum supports, connects and expands geographic associations of grant makers to strengthen and increase philanthropy.
