$40,000 to be Invested in Alexandria Playgroups This Year!

On June 1, we announced our priority gifts for 2011/2012…$20,000 to the 
Center for Alexandria’s Children for another year of playgroups and $20,000 for a Collaborative Playgroup Study conducted by GWU professor Dr. Travis Wright so playgroups can expand throughout Alexandria. This study will help quantify the benefits of playgroups and ensure that playgroups use the most effective practices and techniques as the model expands throughout the City.
