Mark your calendars for our Fifth Anniversary Gathering, tentatively scheduled for November 4 at 7:00 pm. We will send a separate save the date notice soon.
You, the members of the Giving Circle of Alexandria, have made everything accomplished in the last five years possible, and increasing the number of women who join us and the dollars that we give back to the community is my highest priority this year.
Find out how to make your gift. Everyone can also help build our membership by hosting a party for your friends; contact Sue Setliff for information and help in holding a gathering.
The first Gift Committee Meeting for 2009-2010 will be Tuesday September 15, 7:00 pm -8:30 pm in the Sister Cities Conference Room A and B at City Hall 301 King Street, Alexandria VA. All Giving Circle members are welcome to attend this. The agenda includes Gift Committee recommendation to Board about developmental gift recipients, fundraising ideas and a discussion of how to renew and refresh the Gift Committee.
